Successful Coaching Seminar with Legia Warszawa – Training and Experience Exchange

On October 8-9, 2025, the Legia Warszawa Day youth coaching seminar was held with great success in Nitra (Slovakia) and Tatabánya (Hungary). The event aimed to provide participating coaches with first-hand knowledge and experience from one of Poland’s top football academies. The practical training sessions were conducted with the professional support of FK Nitra and FC Tatabánya, for which we express our sincere gratitude.

Tatabánya

Top-Tier Guest Speakers
The first speaker was Jakub Zapaśnik, head coach of Legia Warszawa’s U15 team. His presentation was highly professional and insightful. For three years, he has been in charge of one of Legia’s most talented age groups, with eight players from the 2010-born squad currently representing Poland’s U15 national team. His role and achievements clearly reflect his coaching expertise.

The second speaker, Filip Raczkowski, led Legia’s U19 team to a Polish championship title in 2024 and is now coaching Legia Warszawa’s B team. His job involves developing a very young squad while also achieving results on the pitch, making his insights particularly valuable for the attending coaches.

Huge Interest and Positive Feedback
The seminar attracted significant interest, with more applicants than available spots. Unfortunately, due to capacity limits, not everyone could participate, but the feedback from those who attended was overwhelmingly positive. The event provided a high-quality learning experience that attendees found extremely beneficial.

We were also honored by the presence of Nemanja Nikolić, former top scorer for Legia Warszawa and Chicago Fire, who made the seminar even more special with his visit.

This event once again highlighted the importance of international cooperation and knowledge exchange in football coaching. By sharing modern training methods and best practices, we aim to contribute to the continued development of youth football in the region.
